My Love for Teaching

I have many years of experience teaching music to individuals and groups alike. I love teaching adults as well as children.

It’s my belief that the first step to learning is being excited about the music and realizing that musical goals can be achieved through effective practice. His goal is to develop students into the musicians they want to be, while remembering that the main purpose of music is enjoyment, fun, and community.

I structure my lessons for each individual student based on that student’s goals, needs, and interests, including:

-chord shapes and tuning -song requests by the student

-basic music theory - jamming and performing tips

-Improvisation -learning by ear

-playing out of various chord positions and keys -learning with tablature

-rhythm and backup techniques including fills -harmony singing and more!
